Welcome to Old Paths Baptist Resources!

Robert & Judy Lewis

This site is a work in progress. We are attempting to place a significant number of resources at this one location. It is our desire to provide a credible library of documentation for those who are interested in the doctrines and practices of the people called Baptists. While we do not ascribe to apostolic succession. We do believe in a doctrinal succession of people we call “Baptists” throughout history.

Here you will find a collection of historical documents provided to connect the beliefs and practices of this great caravan of God’s people as they journey along the pathway towards the coming of the Lord. There may be some errors and omissions, but our intent is to provide a resource to link the history of the people on the old path ways to this present generation. If you have some helpful suggestions, or documents which could help us to accomplish this goal, please provide some feedback.

Jeremiah 6:16  “Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls.”

Dear Brother Lewis, thank you for your website, it is excellent, you should have other articles about Baptist their history. An old saying is, “those that forget the past are condemed to make the same mistakes again!”

  2. Hello Bro. Lewis!

I love your blog and I do come here from time to time. My “blog” is here: http://revonator.wordpress.com/

I put it “blog” quotes because it isn’t really a blog as of yet, it is more like a collection of sermon outlines that I have preached. It is evolving though, who knows, maybe an article or so may appear in the future!

Thank you for your ministry and blog, My friend!
