This site is a work in progress. We are attempting to place a significant number of resources at this one location. It is our desire to provide a credible library of documentation for those who are interested in the doctrines and practices of the people called Baptists. While we do not ascribe to apostolic succession. We do believe in a doctrinal succession of people we call “Baptists” throughout history.
Here you will find a collection of historical documents provided to connect the beliefs and practices of this great caravan of God’s people as they journey along the pathway towards the coming of the Lord. There may be some errors and omissions, but our intent is to provide a resource to link the history of the people on the old path ways to this present generation. If you have some helpful suggestions, or documents which could help us to accomplish this goal, please provide some feedback.
Jeremiah 6:16“Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls.”
Please review the website www.baptistresources.us . I am attempting to update it in such a way that it will become a significant source of information and inspiration concerning our historic Baptist beliefs and practices. We have volumes of testimonies and sermonic information written by our predecessors. Most of the preachers and missionaries that we quote have received their eternal reward many years ago. It is my hope to host a large compilation of the expository teaching and preaching of our contemporariesthat continue on the old paths. I believe this can be an invaluable resource for soldiers in the army of the Lord in every field of service. The website will function like a blog with visitors interacting with the contributorsof the documents. For now, there will be only textdocuments. The subject matter that we shall begin with is in four main categories: Missions, The Church, The Bible, The Baptists. There are two other pages for Misc Thoughts and Sermons on which you could post on as well. I have already begun posting some articles and sermons on these pages myself. It would be a great blessing to me and to a host of other preachers and missionaries if you would take the time to contribute some ofyourbest material in one or more of these categories. Your help would be greatly appreciated. If you would like to get started, for now you can send articles directly to my email address to me and I will see that they get posted on the website. You can send me an email with or without attachments. I’ll be looking forward to hearing from you on this matter. I know the site needs some improvement. Your participation will help to provide just that! The first page is a blog and really has not gotten off the ground yet. Feel free to post on it as you wish.
